Baby Quilt made fom many mens shirts

This quilt was made for a co-worker who was having her 4th child and 1St son. Almost every plaid and many of the lights used men's shirts that I bought at Thrift Shops. The background fabric was a Moda print that reminds me of the 1950"s. It was great fun to make..and both Jackie and her husband loved it. Little Andrew will arrive on or about 11/8/09

Falling Leaves Quilt

I made this for my dear friends 60th birthday...she loves fall colors

FABRIC GIFT!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Mom gave me a big bag of fabric that she bought 20 yrs ago at an auction. These were all aprons, made by someone and never used. They are identical in style and made of a variety of good quality cotton. We wonder if they were made for a church fundraiser or something of that sort...there are way too many for one household.

What to do with them?

Maybe a bowtie quilt?

Suggestions welcome.

I doubt they are 30's fabric, maybe 1950"s or so.

Finished the top with 4700 pieces!!!

My daughter is getting married in July. This is her wedding quilt from Judy Martin's newest Logcabin book. The name of the pattern is Fingerlakes Log Cabin. It was made totally from scraps except for the light blue batik that I bought

Off to the LA Quilter next!
