My Mom gave me a big bag of fabric that she bought 20 yrs ago at an auction. These were all aprons, made by someone and never used. They are identical in style and made of a variety of good quality cotton. We wonder if they were made for a church fundraiser or something of that sort...there are way too many for one household.
What to do with them?
Maybe a bowtie quilt?
Suggestions welcome.
I doubt they are 30's fabric, maybe 1950"s or so.

I think they would be lovely in any scrap quilt. I must say, I do love 9 patch patterns the best.
What fun to try to guess what they were made for. I think your idea is probably close -- a fundraiser project. A bow tie, churh dash, dresden plate -- all would look great in these fabrics.
